So grateful for the way this site has given me the ability to connect with so many people around the world and right here at home in Detroit. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and connecting over the past year. Hopefully the next will be as fun!
I am a father of 5, husband to Amanda, and teacher and leader for both Kensington Community Church and Vision 360 church planting network. I am slowly but surely becoming a champion for the next generation, for the fatherless, and for the city of Detroit, Durban and other urban centers around the globe.
This is my personal blog that has been live for one year. It is focused on next generation leadership, with the deep conviction that everything we do should influence and impact the generation that will follow. Before it is spoken aloud it is often written down here first, so I apologize for the messiness.
I write about Spiritual leadership within the following categories: Next Generation leadership, the city, Family, Global Youth Culture, and, on occasion, stuff that doesn’t fit neatly into anyone of them. My brain rarely stops and so this is simply a way to get stuff out of my head to free up the minimal space I have!
My goal is to create creative and compelling content that moves both you and me towards our maker. If you are in a position of leadership—aspire to be—or have questions of faith, hopefully you will resonate with the writing.
I typically post four to five times a week. To make sure you don’t miss my newest posts, you can subscribe via RSS or e-mail.

Dan and Amanda,
Congratulations on becoming parents of five! We are parents of three through international adoption and are hearing the call to add one more through foster care. Thanks for listening and going forward into the amazing adventure God has planned for your family.
Dan, great to be with you and Amanda last night at joe’s house. In my prayer time this morning I was reading from Acts 26:16-18 as I was praying for you and your mission.
Have an awesome day!
Tim
TIm,
Beyond grateful for you guys… thanks for being with us. What’s a good email to reach you at so we can send prayer updates to you both? (email it to me @ Dan.sadlier@gracecovenantnyc.org if you don’t mind)
Thanks again
